*The RAV 4 found at Avery Salvage by Karen Halbach’s husband’s first cousin Pamela Sturm & her daughter Nikole Sturm at 10:30am on November 5, 2005 after searching the 40 acres & 40,000 cars for about 20 minutes. It was around 350 feet from a car crusher.
*They find male blood in 6 locations in the RAV 4 & female blood in the back on November 7, 2005. They determine that the blood in the cargo area matched a soda can Teresa Halbach had in the front of the car.
*They find what they claim are Teresa’s electronics in burn barrels on November 7, 2005.
*The RAV 4 key that was found by Lieutenant Lenk on November 8, 2005 after 7 prior searches. They find DNA on the key on November 10.
*The RAV 4 plates were found crumpled up by volunteer fireman William Brandes kind of on the path on the way to Steven Avery & Barb Janda’s trailers.
*Human bone fragments were found on November 8th, 2005 but they claim they couldn’t examine or recover them because of Steven Avery’s German Shepherd that was chained up nearby. They declared the bones as human & female on November 9th.
*They arrest Steven Avery & find a cut on his hand on November 9th, 2005.
*They recover more bones on November 10, 2005.
*The FBI says the cremains in the burn pit belong to Teresa Halbach on January 19, 2006.
*Wiegert & Fassbender interrogate Kayla & then Brendan multiple times. They take Brendan out of school & bring him home to get a pair of jeans they say has bleach stains as a result of Brendan helping Steven clean the garage. They also took Barb Janda’s handcuffs & leg irons that were similar to ones Steven Avery had. This occurred on February 27, 2006.
*Brendan is interrogated multiple times without a parent or counsel present by Wiegert & Fassbender where he is coerced into a confession.
* They find 2 bullets in the garage & Sherry Culhane claims Teresa Halbach’s DNA is on one of them on March 1, 2006.
*They find 11 separate .22 caliber shell casings on March 6, 2006.
*They take a Q-Tip & swab the hood latch that Culhane claims is Steven Avery’s sweat on April 3, 2006
*Michael O’Kelly manipulates Brendan on May 12, 2006 & has him write out a confession & draw pictures of the rape & murder
